I’m a PhD candidate studying vertebrate paleontology and evolution at Yale, currently undertaking a predoctoral fellowship at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. I primarily study the evolution of modern birds using fossil and molecular data, but I have deep interests in many aspects of vertebrate macroevolution and diversity. I also love observing wildlife and landscapes around the world, and this site displays my photographs (mostly of birds) from recent field trips.
